Where Are My Things?
I want to explore how we can have what we truly desire in life, reflect on our own self-worth, and always find a positive conclusion that comforts and supports us.
I hope this article gives you the inspiration you need and becomes another small light on your path, guiding you forward.
Speaking of light on the path, sometimes the alluring lights of “will-o’-the-wisps” can tempt us away, and we may fear that it might not be the right path to our goal. In life, we often reach crossroads where we must decide which way to go. And just as there are many roads to our problems, there are also many roads to our goals—twisting, dividing, and merging again. There is never only one way forward.
If we stand still at a crossroads, unable to choose, our destination will not come any closer. Opportunities, like gates on our journey, are not permanent. Some disappear, while new ones are born. Some gates close and others open. If we hesitate too long, by the time we finally move, the gate before us may already be shut.
Many people today wait too long—in work, relationships, or finances—hoping something will magically change, that the universe or some higher power will simply hand them what they want, as if positive thinking alone was enough. But sitting and waiting never brings results.
Even if something greater exists out there with the power to give us what we desire, sometimes it requires us to get up and take action. To accept that new job, to bend down and pick up that dirty banknote on the street, to make a move before life takes the chair we’re sitting on away from us.
Have you also been inspired by movies like “The Secret”, believing everything would magically improve, only to find nothing changed? I have. It took me a long time to realize where most people stumble.
Here’s the truth: most seminars about money only truly enrich the person giving the seminar. We leave feeling good, but nothing really changes. Why do people jump from one course to another, always ending up in the same place, even when the promise is “you will be rich”?
That doesn’t mean all courses are worthless. Many contain real wisdom and valuable tools. But the main reason people don’t see results is this: true wisdom is not just knowing—it’s doing. True wisdom is using every tool that can help you, consistently, until the result appears. In the end, it means changing ourselves, changing what we carry inside, so we can finally receive something better.
So, where are your things? The things you wish for but haven’t yet received? I believe they are already waiting for you, the moment you decide you truly want them and are willing to walk the path. If you want money and truly commit to learning, growing, and taking action, you will move forward—not get stuck at crossroads. And even if the road winds steeply uphill, remember: for most of us, there is no elevator to success.
As Anthony Robbins says: “People come to me and say they don’t have what they want. They also say they’ve tried everything! And I tell them—it’s a lie. Because if you had really tried everything, you would already have what you want.”
Although this article may sound “material,” the same principles apply spiritually. Some people have everything others dream of, yet lack peace of mind or suffer from physical pain. And I always say: “Do what you’ve learned. Watch the videos available. Practice daily or ask for help. Learn and apply. Results will come.”
Do you want money? Then love it—but not greedily. Feel good with it. Feel good when you think of it, when you hold it, when you receive it, and even when you spend it. Once you change your relationship with money, its relationship with you will change. Free yourself from fear, lack, and low self-worth. Because people—and life itself—will reward you exactly in proportion to your inner value.
